The object of the PASS PLUS scheme is to give new drivers experience in a wider variety of situations and conditions than is required for the L test. The PASS PLUS scheme was set up by the DSA to encourage further driver education to make newly qualified drivers better drivers. The course consists of 6 modules usually taken in blocks of 3x2 hours or 2x3 hours tuition.
You will cover:
- Motorway driving
- Town driving
- Out of town driving and rural roads
- All-weather driving
- Night driving
- Dual carriageways
Training can be taken up to one year after passing the practical test. On completion of the course you will be issued with a certificate, please note there is no test to be taken at the end of the course.
